Tesula has proudly called Sandy Springs home for the past 20+ years. A graduate of Liberty University with a doctorate in Business Administration, Tesula has built a distinguished 30-plus-year career in the financial industry, where she has developed a reputation for strong leadership, integrity, and results. As a former board member of The Quantum Foundation, her passion for public service led her to pursue a certificate in non-profit from Harvard University. These accomplishments have prepared her for a role in government serving the community of Sandy Springs.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Tesula is deeply committed to service. She volunteers with Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Sandy Springs, mentors young women pursuing careers in finance, and consistently advocates for opportunities that strengthen and uplift the Sandy Springs community.
Tesula is running for Sandy Springs City Council because she believes every resident deserves vibrant neighborhoods, safer streets, equal opportunity, and a transparent, accountable government. If elected, she will focus on tackling everyday quality-of-life issues — easing traffic congestion, revitalizing parks, and ensuring residents have a voice in decision-making.
